The following is a summary of our meeting, using abridged notes from the official minutes they are not intended to be a replacement of those minutes, a full copy of the minutes are available from the group Secretary.

1 Minutes for last meeting – approved
2 Finances / Grants – FJ requires signatures to allow him to act as Treasurer. SE renewed the boat insurance £48.61
3 River cleaning – Not much to report. Weed is growing well due to the improved water quality, SE suggested possible working party to clear during the winter months in the town section – easy access due to lower water levels.
4 SE has 3 litter pickers – he will also ask the EA if they could let us have a prong fork to assist with the weed clearing.
5 Footpaths / Walks – MA proposed small changes to the two river walk – permission required from land owners (Blind Yeo) he will speak to Bernard to establish who they are.
6. Levels and flow – See levels section on the website for details. (SE – to action)
7. Town Section – SE Shopland’s culvert cleared – e-mail and photos of the trash screen by the Old Dairy sent to owners – scree by the Conservative Club being monitored (might now have been cleared for a while). Large accumulation of debris in the river due to heavy rain fall over the last few months
8 River representative reports
Trevor’s – looking good.
Stewart’s – flow being maintained and quality much improved in the last two years.
Bernard’s still lots of watercress.
9 Publicity – It was decided not to have a stand at this years winter fair
10 Website – no report
11 AOB Bank balance – £311.24 (FB) Feedback from Andy Carol regarding the bridges – will get the brush / brambles cut back and asked if we could do some of the painting.
