The following is a summary of our  AGM, using abridged notes from the official minutes they are not intended to be a replacement of those minutes, a full copy of the minutes are available from the group Secretary.

 Meeting held on Thursday, 4 September 2014.

PRESENT – Stewart Edwards (Chair), David Robinson, Paul Trowbridge, Brian                 Quantrill, Simon Osborn, Judith James

1. MINUTES OF 2013 AGM – Circulated and agreed (no objections)

2 MATTER ARISING – Noted that the footpath at the end of Churchill Avenue is still

4 TREASURER’S REPORT – Accounts submitted. Cash at bank currently£180.63. The Treasurer pointed out that annual expenses currently are approximately £110 pa and that there are no means of collecting this sum, nor was there any contingency for any extra expense. It was suggested that means of ensuring the group has sufficient funds (suggested £150) should be discussed at next committee meeting. Brian Quantrill asked if the boat was insured and was assured that this is covered.

6 FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS – David took the Chair and thanked Stewart for his work as Chairman. After discussion it was agreed to continue to meet bi-monthly and dates will be booked with Sailing Club.

7 DATE OF NEXT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Thursday, 3rd September 2015.

At the end of the meeting Robert Smisson gave an illustrated talk on recent archaeological work undertaken locally in Marshalls Field and at Berkeley Castle.
